I have been in the music industry for over 30 years, achieved grade 5 in theory for the Royal School of Music and grade 7 in the practical side. Did a jingle for Manakitanga trust in Invercargill to promote their learning educational courses and an original composition for a ballet student who was to dance to the story line of "Rona", who was taken by the moon. Years working with bands there in Invercargill, (Gin Sing), 1st band and (Mystix's), 2nd band and my first group to put together with other musicians. With this group we entered a battle of the bands competition, came 2nd but a close battle with a Dunedin group. Ended up doing a gig for the "Loners" out in Bluff. Taught music, and also teaching students to learn how to read, write and play music, in under half a day.
